LivingJewelry                     #LJ001    Knife and Lid  (Stevia shown)

I think this came to me after too many hours of gardening in the hot sun while wishing I could be in the shop with a hot torch. I always wished I could combine the two great loves of my life—plants and metal—and so arrived Living Jewelry.
It’s taken me three years of trial and error (and many a dead plant) , but I’ve finally come up with a soil mixture that stays well hydrated without drooling all over your shirt. You only have to water it once a week. Really.
The season is young yet, so many of the seedlings are still small and fragile, but here’s what's available now.

Sage (See #LJ002)
Peppermint
Spearmint
Chocolate Mint
Ginger Mint
Japanese Mint
Lemon Balm
Citronella Balm (lovely for barbecues with mosquitos)
Day Lilies
Thai Basil
Scurvy Grass

Coming soon:
Lavender, for the best aromatherapy around
Stevia, the sweetest plant on the planet

Every last one of these plants is from my garden and raised completely without chemicals. If by chance your plant happens to die, just let me know and I’ll ship you a new one.

This planter is a hollow knife end with two fork tines to create handles. It also comes with a lid (also made from a knife and fork tine), should you prefer to use it as, say, a scented oil holder. All pieces are silver plated and can be easily cleaned with a little toothpaste.

Living Jewelry comes with a suction cup to affix it to your window, a dropper for watering, and an adjustable waxed cotton cord. You can get a silver chain for $10-20 more, depending on the style and length.
