#LB010 Beach Sandals (Jute)
The sole of the smaller jute sandal is 6.25 inches long. The larger measures nearly 7.25 inches. Although the color looks gray-white, it's really the tan color peculiar to untreated jute.
Certain crochet shapes (like the oval that forms the bottom of these sandals) are achieved with a particular arrangement of stitches. Taking that into consideration, these sandals were designed by CottageWorks and are unique to us.
CottageWorkers are often asked how long an item takes to make. Each small pair of sandals takes 5-6 hours from first stitch to the final tie-off.
Handmade requires more from all of us. Some pieces crafted by CottageWorkers (like afghans) can take a month or more to plan, fabricate and construct.
