Originating in Europe around the 17th century, Scherenschnitte (paper cutting) was used by the immigrants as an economical form of decorating records, and special milestones in their daily lives. It was also used by the well known Danish auther Hans Christian Andersen to illustrate many of his storybooks for children.
Available with or with out the traditional hand painted vinager frame.
